At Paperista, we have an equal and undying love for both fashion and paper. We know our clients have to come to love our ability to combine the two and make beautiful, unique printed creations for their special occasions and lifestyle correspondence. Taking it to an even more visible level, we had an idea to partner with the eco-fabulous and stunning Letterpress stationery company, Smock, to create a “wow” window display. We commissioned Rika VanHeerde Snyder, a fashion student at the University of Minnesota and intern for Minneapolis-based wedding gown designer Tara LaTour to create two dresses made entirely of paper. Letterpress invitations and gift wrap came to us from Smock and Rika was off and running. She had only three weeks to turn them around and the results are jaw-dropping.
