Cocktails for a Cause at L’atelier Couture Bridal

You and yours are cordially invited by the ladies of L’atelier Couture to Cocktails for a Cause on February 3rd. A silent auction, wedding & cocktail dresses by their exclusive designers, NELLE showroom event, cocktails {Prairie Vodka} and sweets {Cocoa & Fig} will all contribute to this fabulous evening. Complimentary Parking will be provided. No purchase is necessary but donations are welcome to the American Cancer Society.  Paperista owner, Antoinette Ramos, is guest speaker sharing her story of survivorship as a young adult with cancer.

Don’t miss FOUND event on 1.20.12

 

Join us for a revelatory night of cocktails and celebration as Photogen Inc. and Rivets & Roses presents
“FOUND // The Art of Wedding,” on Friday, January 20th, 2012
at 514 Studios in the North Loop district of Minneapolis.

FOUND celebrates local talent working to elevate weddings to an art form and introduces engaged couples and Twin City art lovers alike to their work. The event will be curated by Eliesa Johnson and features fine-art installations by photographers Photogen Inc. and Rivets and Roses, fashion designer Tara LaTour, floral designers Munster Rose, filmmakers Capture Studios and stationer Paperista. MN Bride will be handing out complimentary copies of its latest issue, while Flow DJ spins some tunes, Cocoa & Fig will display and serve their tastiest confections, and the lovely crew at Crispin will pour up tastes of their refreshing cider. So whether you’re a newly engaged couple or a fine art enthusiast, FOUND is sure to find you enchanted, inspired, and a little imbibed.

This event is open to the public (+21 event)

Wedding Etiquette for Brides

Back by popular demand, Paperista is conducting our second wedding etiquette class on Tuesday, November 1st from 6-8pm.  Antoinette, our owner and etiquette expert, is teaching a small class of only 8 brides specifically about preparing for and hosting one of the most important events of your life – your wedding!  It will be a very candid evening reviewing proper table manners, toasting and greetings, and overall how to stay graceful on your wedding day.  Refreshments and hors d’ oeuvres will be served.  The attire is business casual to cocktail dress.
Earlier in the year, we hosted a larger scale class and received an overwhelming amount of positive feedback from attendees (photos and a wrap up can be viewed here). We also learned that brides wanted the class to be longer and a bit more one-on-one. We listened and so we are making it more intimate by limiting the class to only 8 brides.  The store will close early for this private event.
The cost for the class is $45 and we are sure to fill our spots very soon. If interested, please stop into the store or call as soon as possible to reserve your space. We would love to see you there!
